Relaxing Sunday Morning?

Well I woke up this morning and realized that it was six o'clock I was wide awake but guess what? No one else in the house was awake! So the plan was to get up without Annie or Drake waking up (I could tell Daimon was not waking up) sneak downstairs make some coffee, enjoy my coffee while listening to the news while checking email and facebook. Then I thought it would be the perfect time to finally put something new on my blog. I was going to add a blog today about the things we do every Sunday. I guess that will have to wait till later.

Plans have changed. First I stepped out of bed and Annie greeted me, well I guess just having Annie up won't be so bad. Then was to tippie toe down the stairs but I guess Annie does not know how to do that. Next I hear "Mom can I get up now too?" To which I answer, "Sure Sweetie." Well there goes the quite morning.

The best was yet to come, coffee is ready, Annie is doing her thing in the backyard and Drake is getting Annie's food and water for her. I open the door to let Annie in and she is not there waiting like every morning. What is that dog doing, so I call "Annie, Annie, time to eat." But no dog, she is at the fence jumping and barking. Oh great she is going to wake all of the neighbors, oh my gosh I think she may climb the fence! What is she barking and jumping at? I went outside and this is what I saw...

Changes

I must start by saying that I love reading blogs, with that being said I don't really know what this blog will consist of. Random things and thoughts from me, recipes ( those of you that know me cooking is my favorite thing to do), what th McNews are up to, and I guess anything else I come up with.

I thought today would be a good day to start. I have been thinking about it for a while now. But as I set watching the coverage of inauguration day the changes to come and what is a head for all of us I thought no time like the present. Today I have my red, white, and blue on trying to show my patrotic side. I even pulled out my flag pin. I can't say that I voted for our very soon to be next President, but I can not help but to feel proud to be a American today. Now don't get me wrong I am proud everyday but always more so on inauguration day. The morning will be spent watching the news and praying for our new President and our country. Then off to work in the afternoon.

Please bare with me hopfully this blog will get better. I still have a lot to figure out on here (Sarah, Heather, and Julie I may be calling on your help). So now I a am off to have a cup of decaf, fold clothes and watch the news.
